At Cove’s Photography, I specialise in capturing visually stunning headshots that showcase the best version of you. Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of what happens during a headshot photography session, so you’ll know what to expect when you book a session with me.

Step 1: Consultation. During our consultation, I take the time to understand your needs, preferences, and expectations for the shoot. We discuss your profession, intended audience, and desired look and feel of the photos. This step is crucial to ensure that we’re on the same page and that the images we take meet your needs and exceed your expectations. I recommend an in-person or Zoom consultation to better understand your personality, style, and body language.

Step 2: Setup. I take care of everything for you. If your session is at a studio, I set up the lighting and background to ensure the best possible outcome. If we’re at your office or home, I bring all the necessary equipment and set it up on-site. As a mobile photographer, I always have a backdrop, lightweight battery-powered strobe lights, and other accessories to shoot on location.

Step 3: Posing and Facial Expressions. During the session, we guide you on poses and facial expressions that work best for the shoot. I take multiple shots of you in various poses and expressions, adjusting your posture or angling your face for the best results. If you’ve requested a wardrobe change, you can switch outfits during this time.

Step 4: Review and Retouching. After the session, I review the photos with you to select the best ones. I also offer retouching services to ensure your final images look their best.

I used to wait a day or two before we even looked at the photos from our sessions. But I realised that I needed to move faster. So now, I’m reviewing those photos on the same day. Less back and forth, less wasted time.

With my help, you’ll have photos that make a great impression in your professional and personal life. So book your headshot photography session with Cove’s Photography today, and let me capture the best version of you.
